Computer-Aided Teaching Using Animations for Engineering Curricula: A Case Study for Automotive Engineering Modules

چکیده
One-dimensional (1-D) demonstrations, e.g., the black-box systems, have become popular in teaching materials for engineering modules due to high complexity of system’s multidimensional (e.g., 2-D and 3-D) identities. The need explanations on how multiphysics equations systems work is vital students, whose learning experience must gain a cognitive process understanding utilizing such multiphysics-focused into pragmatic dimension. lack knowledge expertise creating animations visualizing sequent processes operations academia can result an ineffective students. This study explores benefits animation, which eventually improve student experiences. In this article, use computer-aided animation tools evaluated based their capabilities. Based strengths weaknesses, offered some insights selecting investigated tools. To verify effectiveness learning, survey was conducted undergraduate postgraduate cohorts automotive academics. survey’s data, analytics discussion more quantitative results. historic data (2012–2020) analysis has validated efficacy as achievements study, where average mark both significantly improved, with reduced rate failure.

متن کاملPresenting a Framework for Health, Safety and Environment Performance Evaluation with Resilience Engineering Approach: A Case Study of Automotive Industry
Introduction: Supplier selection plays a significant role in sustainable supply chain management. Current studies have mainly concentrated on economic factors for the selection and evaluation of suppliers, and few emphasis has been made on the triple factors of sustainability including economic, environmental and social elements. Improving Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance levels...
متن کاملComputer Graphic Tools for Automotive Paint Engineering
Recent developments in computer graphics software and hardware have made it possible to write computer graphics programs that can be used to solve automotive paint engineering problems. New surface reflection models have been created for simulating the appearance of automotive paint, and the hardware available today on graphics cards allows these reflection models to be evaluated in real-time. ...
متن کاملIntelligent Computer-Aided Engineering
The goal of Intelligent Computer-Aided Engineering (ICAE) is to construct computer programs which capture a signi cant fraction of an engineer's knowledge. Today ICAE systems are a goal, not a reality. This paper attempts to re ne that goal and suggest how to get there. We begin by examining several scenarios of what ICAE systems could be like. Next we describe why ICAE won't directly evolve fr...
